How Manchester AI handles the information you share with us.
Who we are
Manchester AI provides AI cost optimisation, engineering and FinOps consulting to businesses. For the purposes of data protection law, Manchester AI is the data controller for information collected through this website.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, company, email address and anything you write in the enquiry form when you request a workflow review.
- Technical information. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, retained for security and diagnostics.
We do not ask for candidate data, client data or any personal data belonging to your business through this website.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and arrange a workflow review.
- To maintain a record of our correspondence with you.
- To keep the website secure and working correctly.
Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or the steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
What we don't do
We do not sell your information. We do not add enquiry contacts to a marketing list without asking, and we do not use the content of your enquiry to train AI models.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added in future, this page will be updated and consent obtained where required.
Sharing and processors
We use a small number of service providers to host this website and handle email. These providers process data on our instructions under written terms. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, except where required by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our ordinary business records, then deleted.

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. You may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
